A labour of love by Christian Wijnats which won him the 2012 Global Woolmark prize. Wijnats explored the limitless potential of a single piece of yarn, weaving a single strand into a sculptural form that challenged our perception of what knitwear could be. 

The dress has a sculptural avant-garde fit, with the density of the wool shifting from a loose heavyweight weave to a tighter thinner weft. The merino purl creates a gradient of shape and colour, with the gradient coming from the shifting thread rather than the fabric itself. Dry clean only.
